NATIONAL University stayed unscathed, pulling off a 25-19, 14-25, 25-19, 28-26 victory over University of Sto. Tomas on Sunday in the UAAP Season 80 women’s volleyball tournament at The Arena in San Juan.
Jaja Santiago led NU with 19 points, Aiko Urdas added 10, while Roselyn Doria and Audrey Paran each had nine markers.
It was the Lady Bulldogs' fifth win in as many matches.
NU erased a six-point deficit in the fourth set to take the lead, 17-16.
Sisi Rondina’s 25 points went down the drain as UST suffered its third loss in five outings.
Carla Sandoval had 12 markers for the Tigresses, whose 35 errors resulted in extra points for NU.
