VICE Co. gained a share of the Premier Volleyball League with a 25-19, 32-34, 19-25, 30-28, 16-14 victory over Philippine Air Force on Wednesday at the Filoil Flying V Arena in San Juan.

Jude Garcia had 18 points while Paolo Pablico contributed 15 markers.

Vice Co improved to 4-1, joining Cignal HD Spikers on top.

Fauzi Ismail led all scores with 40 points from 29 attacks, nine blocks, and two service aces for Air Force, which slipped to 2-3, tied with Instituto Estetico Manila and PLDT Home Ultera.

Air Spikers coach Dante Alinsunurin said the players struggled to communicate.

“Dapat ’yung libero ang nagse-set eh pero nagkaroon ng lapse kanina. Hindi sila nagkakaintindihan. Ang dami rin naming service errors,” he said.
