UNIVERSITY of Sto. Tomas has made the win column and though it was a straight-sets victory, Sisi Rondina believes the Tigresses could have done much better.

The Tigresses skipper says they could have put away the University of the East Lady Warriors quicker, and that they could have put up a more balanced scoring.

The 5-foot-6 spiker from Cebu had a third of UST’s total spike attempts —  35 of 105 — and wound up as the only double-digit scorer for the Tigresses with 20 points, 19 from attacks on Wednesday in the UAAP women’s volleyball tournament.

Dimdim Pacres had eight points, while new Recruit Milena Alessandrini scored six.

UST needed an hour and 32 minutes to complete the win, their first after a five-set loss to titleholder La Salle.

UST takes on winless Ateneo on Sunday.
