BORACAY— University of Sto. Tomas and University of Mindanao Tagum arranged a title match in the Nestea beach volleyball tournament on Saturday.

UST’s Sisi Rondina and Jem Gutierrez recovered from an error-filled second set to beat Sebastian College, 21-13, 10-21, 15-13.

Dannah Quisado and Mary Cris Asena of UMT turned back University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos, 21-16, 21-15.

SSC’s Gretcel Soltones and Alyssa Eroa  took an 8-5, lead in the third set before UST recovered to tie it at nine and the Tigresses wound up on top after a tough see-saw battle.
