LA Salle and Ateneo gun for back-to-back wins as they face separate foes on Wednesday in the UAAP women’s volleyball tournament at The Arena in San Juan.

The Lady Spikers (1-0) face National University (0-1) at 2 p.m., while the Lady Eagles (1-0) square off with Adamson (0-1) at 4 p.m.

La Salle won in four sets over Adamson on Sunday, with Ara Galang scoring 27 points, but coach Ramil de Jesus was not so happy and is urging Lady Spikers to do better against NU.

“Hindi pwedeng ganito ang laro, mapat mas mataas pa ang laruin namin,” said De Jesus, who will skip the Super Liga match between his club Generika and league-leading Petron.

The Lady Bulldogs try to bounce back from the three-set opening-day loss to Ateneo.

Alyssa Vadez came up with 28 points in the season opener and is again expected to lead the way against the Adamson side led by Amanda Villanueva, Mylene Paat and Jessica Galanza.
