UNIVERSITY of Santo Tomas and Far Eastern University try to get back on track as face winless teams on Wednesday in the UAAP women’s volleyball tournament at The Arena in San Juan.

The Tigresses face the University of the Philippines Lady Maroons at 4 p.m. after the match between the Lady Tamaraws and the University of the East Lady Warriors at 2 p.m.

UST and FEU are tied for third win 1-1 win-loss cards behind unbeaten leaders Ateneo and La Salle, both at 3-0. National University and Adamson occupy the fifth and sixth spots with 1-2 records.

UST beat UE in the season opener but fell to La Salle on Sunday.

Focus will again be on rookie sensation EJ Laure, lone Tigress to finish in double figures against La Salle with 12 points.

The Lady Maroons are coming off a narrow five-set loss to National University.

Meanwhile, Bernadeth Pons, Remy Palma and Charlemagne Simborio and the rest of the Lady Tamaraws try to recover from a three-set loss to the Lady Eagles.
