SAN Beda College remained unscathed in the NCAA Season 93 women’s volleyball tournament after it turned back Mapua, 25-23, 25-14, 22-25, 25-15, on Friday at The Arena in San Juan.

Skipper Cesca Racraquin finished with 19 points for SBC, which cruised to its fourth straight win to gain a share of the lead with defending champion Arellano (4-0).

Nieza Viray also had 14 markers for the Red Spikers, while Trisha Paras added 13 and Sattriani Espiritu and Jiezella Viray each had 10 points.

SBC capitalized on Mapua’s poor first ball defense as the Mendiola-based squad rained down 14 service aces.

Dianne Latayan made 10 points for Mapua, which slid to 0-4.
