San Beda edges Letran in five to stay unbeaten, gain share of lead with Arellano

SAN Beda College kept its record unblemished in the NCAA Season 93 women’s volleyball tournament, beating Letran, 17-25, 25-15, 25-16, 27-29, 15-12, on Monday at The Arena in San Juan.

Skipper Cesca Racraquin had 17 points as San Beda scored its fifth straight win for a share of the lead with defending champion Arellano University.

Nieza Viray had 14 markers, Sattriani Espiritu added 12, Trisha Paras chipped in 11 and Jiezela Viray had 10 for the Lady Red Spikers.

Glayssa Torres scored 18 points for Letran, while Marie Simborio added 14. A

Jaymeleene Parin chipped in with 11 for the Lady Knights, who dropped to 2-3.
