NATIONAL University coach Roger Gorayeb kept the discussion on his new look to a minimum and grew tired of talking about the same, old problems after the Lady Bulldogs fell to their third straight loss in the UAAP Season 79 women’s volleyball tournament on Wednesday.

The skidding Lady Bulldogs faced the UST Tigresses with their coach catching attention with a shaved head, a move that sparked discussions on whether this was due to his frustration over their two-game slide.

But after the game, which the Lady Bulldogs lost, 25-21, 14-25, 14-25, 12-25, Gorayeb shared the reason behind his new hairdo.

“Sinasabi ko na nga ba, issue pa ‘tong buhok ko,” kidded the NU mentor. “Hindi, wala naman ito, mainit lang (ang panahon) kasi kaya pinakalbo ko.”

But the outspoken coach opted not to comment on their three-game losing streak as he refused to divulge his thoughts behind their slump.

“Ewan, hindi ko na alam kung ano ang isasagot sa inyo,” he said.
