FAR Eastern University faces another must-win game after averting elimination, and senior player Remy Palma vows to give it everything she’s got.

Up next for FEU is either Ateneo or La Salle, the top two seeds and both assured of twice-to-beat advantage in the Final Four regardless of what happens in the final day of eliminations of the UAAP Season 79 women’s volleyball tournament.

“It's all or nothing na.

Palma and the Lady Tamaraws earned a spot in the semifinals with an 8-6 record, with the final field and seedings to be determined on Saturday on the final day of eliminations.

Ateneo and La Salle dispute the top seeding in their last elims match.

University of Sto. Tomas and National University face off in the other match. A win by the Tigresses will earn them the No. 3 spot, put the Lady Tamaraws in fourth, and eliminate the Lady Bulldogs.

Victory by NU over UST will forge a match between the two teams for the No. 4 spot, as FEU moves up to No. 3 with a superior tiebreak score.

As she enters the final games of her college career, Palma has encouraged her teammates to have fun and not let the pressure get to them.

“Ako kina-kalma ko lang ang sarili ko. Pag nasa loob ako at naka-puntos ako, mag-eenjoy ako, at the same time, naka-focus ako sa laro ko,” she added.

“Kailangan nage-enjoy tayo pero naka-focus tayo sa game natin,” she said.

Palma also shrugged off talk of individual matchups, even as scribes point out a possible showdown with either La Salle’s Majoy Baron or Ateneo’s Bea de Leon.
