POWER Smashers downed Philippine Air Force, 25-23, 25-20, 25-22, on Thursday to post back-to-back wins in the Premier Volleyball League at The Arena in San Juan.

Arellano University trio Jovelyn Prado, Regine Arocha and Andrea Marzan showed the way as the Power Smashers notched their third win in five matches.

Prado scored 16, while Prado and Arocha added 10 points each for Power Smashers.

University of Sto. Tomas’ Mary Dominique Pacres registered 12 markers, anchored on 11 kills, for the Power Smashers, who were coming off a big win over Creamline.

May Ann Pantino scored with 16 points, Iari Yongco added 12 for the Lady Jet Spikers, who absorbed their third consecutive loss after an opening-day win.
