Nothing final on coaching national women's team after meeting with LVPI, says Ramil de Jesus

LA Salle coach Ramil de Jesus said he has met with Larong Volleyball sa Pilipinas, Inc. officials twice, but he has not signed a contract to coach the women’s national volleyball team that will be sent to the 18th Asian Games in Jakarta.

De Jesus said nothing is final, although things could become clearer this week when tryouts are held.

“Nag-meeting pero  … hindi naman ‘to ‘yung tamang oras para pag-usapan ‘yan eh,” said De Jesus.

LVPI is set to conduct an open tryout on Friday at the Arellano University Legarda campus.

The Asiad is set August 18 to September 2. The team to be formed is also expected to see action in the AVC Asian Senior Women’s Cup in Thailand in September and the 30th Southeast Asian Games next year in the Philippines.
