Lyceum looks to get semis bid back on track as it takes on San Beda in NCAA women's volleyball

LYCEUM of the Philippines tries to get back into the semifinal places when it takes San Beda College on Monday in the NCAA women’s volleyball tournament at The Arena in San Juan City.

A five-set loss to loss Perpetual Help saw Lyceum fall off the top four and will look to get back on track for a first semifinal appearance. It needs to sweep its last two elimination round matches.

"We still have a chance," said LPU coach Emil Lontoc.

San Sebastian leads with a 6-0 win-loss record followed by defending champion Arellano U at 6-1 and St. Benilde at 5-1.

In the men's side, San Beda tries to break at fourth spot with Arellano U at 4-3 when it clashes with Lyceum.

Perpetual Help has a 6-0 record followed by titleholder Emilio Aguinaldo College at 6-1 and St. Benilde at 5-1.

In the juniors division, Perpetual Help leads with a 4-0 record followed by EAC at 4-1, Arellano at 4-2 and and San Sebastian with a 2-2 card.
