ELEVEN new players showed up for the tryout of the Philippine women's volleyball team on Wednesday at Arellano gym in Legarda, Manila.

Petron trio Mika Reyes, Ces Molina and Rhea Dimaculangan, University of the Philippines star Tots Carlos, Generika-Ayala libero Bang Pineda, F2 Logistics' Lourdes Clemente, University of the East libero Kath Arado, Cocolife pair Denden Lazaro and Royse Tubino and Pocari Sweat tandem Ellaine Kasilag and Myla Pablo were all present and early for the 5 p.m. call time.

All were absent from the first day of tryouts last Friday.

Five of them, however, left before the training began. Kasilag and Pablo excused themselves due to a tune-up game at the Villamo Airbase in Pasay City while Reyes, Molina and Dimaculangan didn’t stay long as they have team practice with the Philippine Super Liga Grand Prix underway.

La Salle players Kim Dy, Dawn Macandili and Majoy Baron, F2 Logistics standouts Ara Galang, Cha Cruz, Kim Fajardo and Aby Maraño, Sta. Lucia tandem MJ Phillips and Rebecca Rivera and University of Santo Tomas star Sisi Rondina were also present.
