MIKA Reyes is making the most of her time away from volleyball to step out of her comfort zone and explore fresh opportunities before another season begins in the Philippine Super Liga.

The F2 Logistics middle blocker knows that a volleyball career doesn’t last long, which is why she’s currently collaborating with her management team at Virtual Playground in exploring projects already lined up for the charming volleybelle.

The Philippine Super Liga recently concluded its 2016 season and will resume with its Invitational Conference until May.

While on break, the former La Salle star plans to maximize her free time to explore other interests aside from the sport she’s played for many years.

“Hindi naman sa nagsasawa ako, pero after five long years ko sa collegiate volleyball, syempre parang pahinga muna. As of now, I have months pa naman para makapagpahinga. Gagawin ko ang pwede kong gawin doon,” she said.

The former La Salle star is also looking into some business prospects.

Dapat pinaplanong mabuti ‘yun,” added Reyes, who manages a family-owned resort in their hometown, Pulilan, Bulacan.
