LA Salle handed University of the East its 50th consecutive loss, 25-10, 25-13, 25-21, on Sunday in the UAAP women’s volleyball tournament at the MOA Arena.

Middle blocker Mika Reyes scored 10 points, Ara Galang added nine and middle blocker Mary Joy Baron chipped in eight as the Lady Spikers improved their win-loss record to 4-1 for second spot behind unbeaten Ateneo (5-0).

The veteran coach noted they got solo second because National University to University of Santo Tomas  on Saturday and slipped to third spot with a 3-2 card, but said they still need to work on their own game.

Shaya Adorador scored 10 points for UE, winless in the UAAP since January 28, 2012.
