Creamline downs defending champ Pocari-Air Force to grab share of PVL lead

CREAMLINE turned back defending champion Pocari Sweat-Air Force, 25-15, 27-25, 17-25, 25-19, for its third win in the Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference on Sunday at Batangas City Coliseum.

Thai import Kuttika Kaewpin stood out on both offense and defense with 16 points, 13 digs and 19 excellent receptions for the Cool Smashers while skipper Alyssa Valdez also had 16 markers in the match that took an hour and 45 minutes to finish. 

The Cool Smashers improved to 3-1, matching idle PayMaya.

American reinforcement Arielle Love led Pocari Sweat-Air Force with 19 points, from 23 attacks, one block and five service aces, while Madeline Palmer added 13 and Myla Pablo had 12.

The Lady Warriors dropped to 1-2.
