Letran gets back on track in NCAA women's volley with four-set victory over Lyceum

LETRAN got back on the winning track in the NCAA Season 93 women’s volleyball tournament, beating Lyceum, 28-26, 20-25, 26-24, 25-22, on Thursday at The Arena in San Juan.

Marie Simborio poured in 17 points for the Lady Knights, who bounced back from a straight-sets defeat at the hands of defending champion Arellano University.

Glayssa Torres scored 15 and Elizza Abitan added 11 markers as Letran evened its record to 2-2, tied with Jose Rizal University for the fourth spot.

Christine Miralles scored 21 points for Lyceum, which slid eighth spot at 1-3.

Skipper Bien Juanillo added 17 and Monica Sevilla scored 11 for the Lady Pirates.
