ATENEO moved to the semifinals unscathed, downing Emilio Aguinaldo College, 25-21, 20-25, 25-23, 25-23, on Wednesday in the round robin quarterfinals of Spikers’ Turf Collegiate Conference at The Arena in San Juan.

UAAP back-to-back Most Valuable Player Marck Espejo scored 25 points as the Blue Eagles improved to its record to 5-0.

Skipper Ysay Marasigan scored, Joshua Villanueva had 11 points and Rex Intal added 10 for Ateneo in the match that took two hours and two minutes to finish.

Howard Mojica, the reigning NCAA MVP came up with a league-high 41 points, but that was not enough as the Generals fell to a 2-3 slate.
