PERPETUAL Help stayed in the hunt for a Final Four spot after it escaped Jose Rizal University, 25-23, 25-22, 24-26, 25-15, in the NCAA Season 92 women's volleyball tournament on Friday at The Arena in San Juan.

Coleen Bravo and Lourdes Clemente led the attack for the Lady Altas. Bravo fired a career-high 21 points, from 18 kills, two blocks and one service ace, while Clemente added 20 markers. The towering middle blockers combined for 33 of the team's 58 attack points.

Jamela Suyat also added 15 points for Perpetual Help and setter Necelle Mae Gual dished out 73 excellent sets as the Lady Altas improved to 5-3 tied with idle Lyceum of the Philippines at the fifth spot behind no. 4 San Beda College (6-3), which secured at least a playoff for a semifinals spot.

The Las Piñas-based spikers will close their elimination round campaign on Wednesday in a do-or-die match against the streaking Arellano University Lady Chiefs (7-1). 

Shola Alvarez scored 18 points while Rosalie Pepito got 11as the Lady Bombers ended their campaign with a 3-6 slate.
