LA Salle easily disposed of Adamson,  25-13, 25-11, 25-18, on Sunday to secure a place in the Final Four of the UAAP Season 78 women’s volleyball tournament at the Philsports Arena.

The Taft-based squad improved to a 9-2 win-loss to catch longtime rival Ateneo for the league lead while securing another appearance in the playoffs - and a shot at winning a first championship in three years.

La Salle played without injured outside hitter Cyd Demecillo yet encountered little problems rolling to its fourth successive win against a fading Lady Falcons side.

Adamson absorbed its fourth consecutive loss and bowed out of Final Four contention with a 3-8 win-loss card.

Sophomore open spiker May Roque hurt her left knee due to an awkward landing after a spike during the third set. But the team's medical staff later assured there's nothing to worry about.
