EMILIO Aguinaldo College clobbered National College of Business and Arts, 25-14, 25-21, 25-19, on Saturday to take the bronze medal in the Spiker's Turf Collegiate Conference at The Arena in San Juan.

Kerth Melliza scored 13, Howard Mojica had 11 points and Israel Encina added 10 for the Generals, who  needed only an hour and 15 minutes to take the match.

EAC dominated the match with 41 attacks against 24 of NCBA to complete a sweep of the best-of-three series.

"Pinaghandaan talaga namin para matapos na (ang series) para makapaghanda na kami sa NCAA," said EAC coach Rodrigo Palmero.

The Generals now prepare for their title defense in the NCAA, which starts in November.

"Alam ko 'yung mga kalaban nagpapalakas rin and kami pinipilit lang namin na mag-improve pa," he said Palmero.

Paul John Domingo led NCBA with seven points.
