WATCHING Adamson fall to National University was twice as painful for Karlle Nico Ramirez after suffering a shoulder injury that kept him out of the crucial final stretch of the UAAP volleyball semifinal match on Wednesday at MOA Arena.

“Kaya siguro ako napaiyak kasi gusto ko rin lumaban kasama sila,” said the fourth year setter.

The Bulldogs won in four sets advancing to the finals against Ateneo.

“Akala ko ang layo ko pa kaya hinabol ko,” he said.

Ramirez returned in the fourth set only to be quickly pulled out again due to pain.

The Adamson playmaker vowed to bounce back stronger next season.

“Babalik ako next year. Next year ako babawi sigurado ‘yan,” he said.
