SAN Sebastian College defeated Letran, 25-9, 25-22, 25-18, to cop its third straight win to stay on track for the Final Four in the NCAA Season 93 on Thursday at The Arena in San Juan.

Skipper Joyce Sta. Rita had 18 points from 10 kills, five blocks and three service aces to lead SSC to its fourth win in six matches.

“Ayos naman nakakatuwa sila ngayon, walang masyadong error meron man konting-konti lang pero at least ang lahat na gusto kong mangyari nagagawa naman,” said SSC coach Roger Gorayeb.

San Sebastian is tied for third with Perpetual Help, behind San Beda and Arellano University, co-leaders at 6-0.

Still, Gorayeb, whose teams in the last two seasons went 9-0 in the eliminations, does not want to be complacent.

“We have to do more pa, ang lalakas ng kalaban eh,” said Gorayeb as they next face Lyceum, San Beda and Arellano.

Nikka Dalisay scored 12 and Daurene Santos added 11 for San Sebastian.

Kathleen Barrinuevo and Jaymeleene Parin each had six markers for Letran, which dropped to seventh spot at 2-4.
