GRETHCEL Soltones has a chance at some sort of redemption as Balipure goes for the Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference title.

The Water Defenders will face Pocari Sweat Lady Warriors in the best-of-three finals PhilSports Arena,  the same venue where the former San Sebastian College spiker’s five-year collegiate career ended at the hands of Arellano University.

It was on a Valentine’s Day that Soltones’ heart got broken as she graduated without an NCAA title.

“Syempre isa din ’yan sa naging inspiration ko kasi hindi namin nakuha last time ang championship dito (PhilSports),” she said.

“But this time bagong laban na and hindi kami pwedeng magrelax, we have to fight,” she added.

The opener of the title series is on Saturday.

“As of now we will have to relax muna, we have to be composed as a team,” she said.

“Magde-date muna kami as a team and then we have to clear our mind, important ‘yun bago kami sumabak ulit sa laban,” she added.
