COLLEGE of St. Benilde ended its campaign in the Premier Volleyball League Collegiate Conference on a high note, beating Technological Institute of the Philippines, 18-25, 25-19, 25-22, 25-22, on Saturday at The Arena in San Juan.

Ranya Musa scored 19 points as the Lady Blazers who managed to get a win in the tournament after four losses.

Rachel Austero and Felicia Cui combined for 27 markers in the one-hour and 48-minute match.

Although St. Benilde scored on 49 attacks compared to 30 of TIP, the Lady Blazers committed 47 errors.

So far naman nagawa naman,” he added.

Cariño hopes the Lady Blazers can find ways to correct their mistakes before the NCAA women’s volleyball tournament opens in November.

“Ang NCAA malapit na November na pero ang team ko medyo uma-angat-angat na,” he said.

Alyssa Layug scored 12 points for TIP, which ended the tournament winless in five matches.
