Kim Fajardo to make decision soon amid growing clamor for her return to La Salle

KIM Fajardo remains undecided about her return to La Salle next year, but hinted that an announcement could come very soon amid a clamor from fans for her to rejoin the Lady Spikers in Season 79.

In a brief interview by during the meet-and-greet event for the fans on Friday, Fajardo said she has yet to make up her mind on whether or not she will return for a fifth and final year with the Lady Spikers.

“Wala pa. Mag-aannounce naman ako soon,” said Fajardo.

La Salle fans, however, made their clamor for Fajardo's return loud and clear as chants of ‘One More Year’ filled the Henry Sy Hall inside De La Salle's Taft campus during the event that drew an estimated crowd of 2,000 people.

One fan even climbed the stage to show Fajardo the lyrics of a song she wrote begging her to play one more year with the team.

Fajardo later addressed the crowd.

“Salamat sa inyo at hindi ninyo kami pinabayaan. Nagpapasalamat kami sa inyo. Sana patuloy ang suporta niyo next season. Maraming salamat sa inyo,” said Fajardo as chants of ‘One More Year’ once again rang out from the crowd.
