UST Tigresses star EJ Laure to sit out UAAP season owing to injury, says source
EJ Laure is in doubt for the UST Tigresses campaign in the UAAP season.

UNIVERSITY of Santo Tomas outside spiker EJ Laure will most likely skip the UAAP Season 80 volleyball tournament starting in early February due to injury.

The incoming fourth-year hitter is suffering from a shoulder injury that will keep her from playing for the Tigresses in the coming season, a source said.

“Most likely, she will not play,” said a source who refused to be named.

Laure's injury comes as a big blow for UST, which already lost the services of middle blocker Ria Meneses who opted to skip her fifth and final playing year with the team.

That leaves Sisi Rondina to take the lead for the Tigresses, who made it to the Final Four in Season 79.
