EAC halts three-match skid with five-set squeaker over winless Letran

EMILIO Aguinaldo College overcame Letran, 23-25, 25-20, 23-25, 27-25, 18-16, in the NCAA Season 93 men’s volleyball tournament on Monday at The Arena in San Juan.

Joshua Mina had 29 points, 14 digs and 27 excellent receptions as EAC snapped ended a three-match skid to improve to sixth spot at 3-4.

Christopher Ilano Jr. had 15 markers, skipper Denzel Rasing added 12 points and Paulo Lim scored 11 for the Generals.

It was a disappointing result for Gatdula, who scored 37 points as Letran remained winless in seven outings.

Christopher Cistina contributed 17 markers for the Knights.
