CREAMLINE bucked a slow start to down Air Force, 18-25, 26-24, 25-17, 25-16 and claim bronze in the Premier Volleyball League Open Conference on Wednesday at the Filoil Flying V Centre.

The Cool Smashers had to bleed to win the second set but were able to breeze through the Lady Jet Spikers in the ensuing sets to end up third.

Leading the charge was Cesca Racraquin, who finished with 18 points, 16 on attacks.

Racraquin also capped a fiery final frame with an emphatic kill.

Rizza Mandapat and Rosemarie Vargas chipped in 11 points apiece for the Cool Smashers.

Jean Balse-Pabayo added 10.

"As I've said before, I guess it's not our time to be in the finals but we're happy to end the season on a winning note," said assistant coach Oliver Almadro.

Mary Ann Pantino paced the Lady Jet Spikers with 16 points. 

Jocemer Tapic had 13 markers, while Dell Palomata scored 12.
