Perpetual Help survives another five-set thriller, edges out EAC Lady Generals in NCAA women's volley

UNIVERSITY of Perpetual Help survived another five-set match, beating Emilio Aguinaldo College, 22-25, 25-19, 25-14, 23-25, 15-13,  in the NCAA Season 93 women’s volleyball tournament on Thursday at The Arena in San Juan.

Cindy Imbo scored 17 points for Perpetual Help, which is coming off a tough five-setter against shorthanded San Sebastian on Monday.

Skipper Maria Tripoli had 15 markers and Lourdes Clemente also delievered 15 points, including six of the Lady Altas' 11 blocks.

Alyssa Sangalang added 11 points and Hershey Llorente scored 10 as the Las Piñas-based squad improved to 3-1 at the third spot.

Aira Binondo scored 13 points for EAC, winless in four matches.
