BaliPure and BanKo-Perlas clash in a crucial match to boost their chances for the last semis spot in the Premier Volleyball League Open Conference on Saturday at The Arena in San Juan.

The Water Defenders (2-2) and the Spikers (2-3) will meet at 4:00 p.m.

The Grethcel Soltones-led BaliPure squad is currently at the fourth spot, while BanKo-Perlas is still fighting for survival coming off a four-set win over University of the Philippines on Wednesday.

Helping Soltones put the Water Defenders a step closer to the semis are Risa Sato, Aiko Urdas, Jerrili Malabanan and setter Jasmine Nabor.

But the Spikers, who are riding on a morale-boosting win against the Lady Maroons, will not go down without a fight.

"Ngayon, nag-gain ulit kami ng confidence to play against Bali Pure this Saturday. So naka-gain kami ng momentum, as much as possible," said BanKo-Perlas top hitter Nicole Tiamzon.

BanKo-Perlas will rely on Tiamzon, Kathy Bersola, Ella de Jesus, skipper Sue Roces and top setter Jem Ferrer.
