CHINA whipped India, 25-9, 25-13, 25-17, on Saturday in the 2015 Asian Under-23 Women’s Volleyball Championship at the Philsports Arena.

Zheng Yixin had 13 points while Meili Song had 11 points in China’s opening game of the tournament.

India recorded its first loss for a 1-1 win-loss slate, and their quarterfinal hopes depend on the result of the Macau-China match on Sunday.

Nirmala had 10 points for India.
