LA Salle stretched its winning streak to six with a quick 25-6, 25-16, 25-11 victory over winless University of the East in the UAAP women’s volleyball tournament on Sunday at The Arena in San Juan.

Ara Galang and Mika Reyes finished with 10 points apiece for La Salle, which stayed on top with a 6-0 win-loss record ahead of defending champion Ateneo (5-0).

Galang still leads the scoring race with 115 points followed by Ateneo ace spiker and reigning MVP Alyssa Valdez, who has 106 points.

The Lady Spikers had 16 service aces.

“Kailangan ma-motivate. Maganda ang service namin most of the time,” said eight-time UAAP champion coach Ramil de Jesus

“Kung ano ang ginagawa namin sa training dapat lumabas sa game,” he added.

Judith Abil had four points for UE, winless in six games.
