Alyssa Valdez watches 3BB Nakornnont game from the stands.

PHILIPPINE volleyball superstar Alyssa Valdez was reduced into a spectator as 3BB Nakornnont demolished King-Bangkok, 26-24, 25-20, 25-23, in the Thailand Volleyball League on Sunday.

Valdez watched the game from the stands and wore a blue polo shirt to show her support to her club team in what was supposed to be her debut game in the Thai commercial league.

Before that, there was a furor over the release of Valdez's International Transfer Certificate (ITC) which was finally secured just hours before the game.

Valdez still sat out as 3BB Nakornnont improved to a 5-3 win-loss card.
