Kazakhstan deals Foton Pilipinas third straight loss ahead of AWCC quarterfinals
Kazakhstan's Altay VC shook off a slow start to beat Foton in three sets.

ALTAY VC overcame a sluggish start and whipped Foton Pilipinas in straight sets on Wednesday in the AVC Asian Women’s Club Championship in Binan, Laguna.

Philippine Super Liga club Foton took an early over an Altay VC that looked disoriented but the Kazakhstan side found its rhythm to gain control and score a 27-25, 25-18, 25-21 victory.

It was the Kazakhs’ second win in as many matches in the classification round to determine the quarterfinal pairings.
