ABY Maraño had a solid performance with partner Danika Gendrauli in her Super Liga Beach Volleyball debut, but the indoor volley star admitted it is tough adjusting to tournament play on the sand against some of the best in the country.

"Magagaling kasi ang nasa line up alam kong magagaling sila, but teaming up with Danika alam kong matutulungan naman niya ako," said Maraño.

Danika Gendrauli won first PSL beach volley tournament with Noree Jane Diaz but have been assigned to different partners, the latter now playing with Pau Soriano.

Marano admits she has a lot to learn about playing on the sand, and thankful she is playing with one of the best.

"Ang pinag-fo-focusan ko lang ngayon is matuto ako from her sa every single training namin," said Maraño.

Maraño is hoping to play to her partner’s expectations as they go for the title.
