BORACAY — University of Southern Philippines Foundation retained the title in the Nestea Beach Volleyball men’s division, downing College of St. Benilde in straight sets on Saturday at the Boracay Beach Chalet.
Edward Ybanez and Edmar Bonono turned back Johnvic de Guzman and Marjun Alingasa, 21-19, 21-19, to bag P100,000.
De Guzman and Alingasa settled for P65,000.
Last year, Ybanez and Bonono also won in straight sets over University of Mindanao Tagum.
University of Mindanao Tagum’s Hachaliah Gilbuena and Jhonrel Amora claimed third place, defeating University of Santo Tomas duo Mark Gil Alfafara and Kris Roy Guzman, 19-21, 21-19, 15-12.
