BORACAY — Defending champion University of Southern Philippines Foundation booked a return trip to the men’s finals, while College of St. Benilde claimed the other spot in the title match on Saturday in the Nestea Beach Volleyball at Bocaray Beach Chalet.
USPF’s Edward Ybanez and Edmar Bonono overcame University of Santo Tomas’ Mark Gil Alfafara and Kris Roy Guzman, 21-11, 18-21, 15-10.
Johnvic de Guzman and Marjun Alingasa of CSB downed University of Mindanao Tagum’s Hachailiah Gilbuena and Jhonrel Amora, 22-20, 21-18.
Earlier, UST pounded Southwestern University’s Rommel Pepito and Jewel Cabahug, 25-23, 21-18.
UMT also won its final elimination-round match, beating Holy Cross of Davao’s Calvin Sarte and Edmar Flores, 21-15, 22-20.
