ALL is set for the NCAA beach volleyball tournament from Feb. 11 to 15 at the Baywalk inside Subic Bay in Olongapo City.
San Sebastian's Gretchel Soltones will try to retain the women's title, this time with new partner Charmaine Dalisay.
Dalisay, named rookie of the year in the NCAA indoor volleyball competition after helping the Lady Stags to a surprising runner-up finish behind the Arellano Lady Chiefs, replaces Czarina Berbano.
College of St. Benilde is the defending champion in the men’s division, while Arellano University seeks to retain the high school championship it bagged last season.
"This will actually be the third time we're going here in Subic after we hold beach volley and basketball games here two seasons ago," said Letran athletic moderator Fr. Vic Calvo, OP.
Calvo was with NCAA Management Committee chair Paul Supan of Jose Rizal and other board representatives when they did an ocular inspection of the venue recently. The NCAA is holding the event in partnership with Lighthouse Marina Resort.
