SEVEN of the 14 national women’s team members showed up for practice on Wednesday, two days after a zero attendance at Arellano Gym in Taft Avenue

Skipper Mika Reyes, Alyssa Valdez, Jovelyn Gonzaga, Ces Molina, Maika Ortiz, Rhea Dimaculangan and Gen Casugod attended practice.

Spin.ph got in the gym early but this reporter was later asked to leave by an Arellano staff member, who said coach Francis Vicente had ordered that the practice be closed to the media.

Sources said Vicente also ordered the players not to grant interviews. Practice ended around 12:30 p.m. and team members exited through the back door.
