MICHELE Gumabao took one step closer in achieving her dream of becoming a beauty queen as the volleyball star was confirmed as one of the 40 official candidates for the Binibining Pilipinas 2018 pageant.
The former La Salle standout, who recently transferred from Cocolife in the Philippine Super Liga to Creamline in the Premiere Volleyball League, was among those named to the official list of candidates released by Binibining Pilipinas on its social media channels on Tuesday.
Gumabao also posted the confirmation on her social media accounts.
“It’s official! Feeling so blessed and excited to begin another journey,” she wrote on the caption of her post.
The 5-foot-10 volleybelle-turned-aspiring beauty queen faces some serious competition in this year’s candidates, which includes 2016 Miss World Philippines Catriona Gray. Take a look at the 2018 Binibining Pilipinas contestants.
