Mapua on a roll after starting season with a loss, keeps Lyceum winless in NCAA men's volleyball

MAPUA bagged its second straight win in the NCAA Season 93 men’s volleyball tournament and kept Lyceum winless, 27-25, 25-22, 24-26, 25-21, on Monday at The Arena in San Juan.

Mark Egan led the way for the Cardinals with 19 points, while Sam Damian added 17, skipper Angelino Pertierra had 12 and Alfredo Pangulo chipped in 11.

The Intramuros-based squad improved to 2-1 after starting the season with a straight-set loss to Arellano University.

Jhonel Badua poured in 21 points, while Joeward Presnede scored 13 for Lyceum (0-3).
