THREE-time UAAP MVP Marck Espejo is hardly concerned after being left off the national pool as his focus is on Ateneo’s campaign for a hat trick of titles in the UAAP.
Espejo said he was surprised at first with the non-inclusion to the national pool, but said he does not question the national coaches’ decision.

The national volleyball federation earlier admitted failing to invite Espejo and three other Ateneo players and said a special tryout will be held for them, but the Ateneo star noted he puts school and the UAAP campaign on top of his priorities.

“If binigyan ako ng chance makasama sa pool, siguro tapusin ko muna yung responsibilities ko sa school, sa UAAP, at sa pagaaral, and if kinuha nila ako after ng UAAP masarap sa pakiramdam,” said Espejo.
