LYCEUM edged Letran, 21-25, 25-15, 21-25, 25-22, 15-10, to start its campaign in the NCAA Season 92 women's volleyball tournament at The Arena in San Juan on Monday.
Skipper Cherilyn Sindayen led the Lady Pirates with 24 points with 21 kills, Czarina Orros added 14, while La Rainne Fabay and Christine Miralles each had 11 markers.
Monica Sevilla chipped in 10 for Lyceum, which had more attack points, 55-41, and scored service aces, 16-11.
Mikaela Lopez and team captain Jan Carreon combined for 24 points for Letran.
