UNIVERSITY of Perpetual Help overcame a tough challenge from a severely depleted San Sebastian College, 25-22, 25-23, 7-25, 18-25, 15-11, in the NCAA Season 93 women’s volleyball tournament on Monday at The Arena in San Juan.
Lourdes Clemente scored 15, Cindy Imbo added 14 points and and skipper Maria Tripoli had 12.
The Lady Altas, coming off a straight-set loss to San Beda College, bagged their second win in three outings.
Daurene Santos had a game-high 22 points from 16 kills, one block and five service aces for SSC, which absorbed its second straight loss in three matches.
Dangie Encarnacion also had 16 markers for SSC, skipper Joyce Sta. Rita added 15 and Nikka Dalisay contributed 12.
