FOR a player who recently started playing a new position, University of the Philippines' Arielle Estranero sure made that transition look easy.
The longtime libero made a smooth transition into her new role as a setter, running the Lady Maroons' attacks to near perfection in their 25-18, 25-11, 25-18 drubbing of the Adamson Lady Falcons last Sunday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
The senior finished with 23 excellent sets and was able to distribute the wealth evenly as four Lady Maroons scored at least nine points or more in the match that lasted just a little over an hour.

Asked about her thoughts on her UAAP debut as a setter, Estranero believes that there's still a lot to be worked on in the future.
"It was average. I know I can do better," Estranero told reporters after the match.
"It was okay kasi hindi naman sobrang taas ng expectations ko for myself since I was just a converted setter. Pero it's not a reason for me to perform less to what coach Jerry expects of me," she added.
The soft-spoken setter admitted that the transition wasn't as breezy as it looked and that at the end of the day, everything is still new for her.
"Everything has been a challenge since it was my first game as a setter. I'm trying to really do my best and to take things positively," she continued.
"Alam kong marami pa akong kailangan i-improve and I'm willing to do extra work to make myself better and help the team."
