LINDSAY Stalzer made a rousing debut for F2 Logistics as the Cargo Movers defeated United Volleyball Club, 23-25, 25-23, 25-21, 25-22, on Tuesday to stay unbeaten in three matches in the Philippine Superliga Grand Prix on at the Arena in San Juan.
Missing F2’s first two matches as she played with her volleyball club in Thailand, Stalzer came up huge in her return to the PSL, scoring 30 points for the Cargo Movers.
The 34-year-old hitter had 25 spikes and five blocks as F2 Logistics, her fourth PSL team, tied rival Petron on top.
F2’s other import Becky Perry added 16 hits.
“Kung wala siya siguro 3-0 talo kami. Lalo na 'yung isang import namin nawala tapos biglang bumalik. Dahil kay Stalzer, nakukuha namin bumalik,” said De Jesus.
“Slow start 'yung team. 'Yung United sobrang lakas ng team na 'to. Malalaki, mabibilis gumalaw. Hindi madaling kalaban. Nakakatuwa sa team namin, ready mag-adjust.”
F2 Logistics seeks its fourth win when it takes on Foton (1-1) on Thursday.
Fil-Am Kalei Mau had 22 points for UVC, Yaasmeen Bedart-Ghani scored 18 and Tai Manu-Olevao added 14.
UVC dropped to 1-2, tied with PLDT, and will try to bounce back against Cignal (2-1) on Thursday.
