LEAGUE-leader and cellar-dweller meet as unbeaten La Salle faces winless University of the East on Wednesday in the 76th UAAP women's volleyball tournament at The Arena in San Juan.
The DLSU Lady Spikers are eyeing their 13th win in as many matches this season and 29th straight dating back to Season 75.
The Lady Warriors, meanwhile, are the only ones without a win in the eight-team field.
Match starts at 2 p.m.
An elimination-round sweep will give the Lady Spikers an automatic Finals spot where they will have a thrice-to-beat advantage.
Meanwhile, UST tries to keep its semifinal hopes alive when it takes on early semifinalist Ateneo.
The Tigresses hold a 4-8 win-loss card, but with still two matches left, the Espana-based spikers can still catch up with Adamson and Far Eastern University, who are tied for fourth at 6-7.
UST needs to sweep its remaining games and hope that FEU and Adamson lose their final elimination-round matches to force a triple tie.
The Lady Eagles have earlier secured the third seeding in the semifinals with an 8-4 record, behind La Salle and National University (12-1).
