In the Juniors A Division, St. Scholastica’s College defeated St. Jude Catholic School, 25-16, 20-25, 25-19, 25-12, to gain a share of the lead with idle La Salle College Antipolo at 2-0.
San Beda improved to 2-0 in Junior B with a 25-15, 25-13, 25-16 victory over Poveda.
De La Salle Zobel, San Beda and Miriam are in a triple-tie for the top spot in the midgets division with 2-0 records.
In the basketball tournament, defending champion Centro Escolar University, PWU and St. Scholastica's College are on top with 3-0 slates.
PWU whipped La Consolacion, 74-39, with Richelyn Badajos scoring a game-high 15 points at the Chiang Kai Shek gym.
Aiyani Mat'hana exploded with 30 points to power St. Scholastica’s College to a 64-51 win over UA&P.
CEU whipped San Beda, 76-30.
Rica Francisco topscored for RTU with 16 points as it clobbered Assumption, 70-32, to join La Consolacion in fourth spot at 1-1.
